Transects were surveyed in various locations within the reserve to locate droppings and traces left by the deer as the indicators of their habitat use. We found that tufted deer displayed seasonal vertical movements between high and low slope positions, staying at sites with lower slope positions and closer to a road in winter compared to those in summer. %U http://www.mammal.cn/EN/abstract/article_2875.shtml
