Abstract: No report had ever been published on the diagnosis of the early stage of pregnancy or the Giant panda (Ailuropoda melanoleuca) either in China or abroad．This is a valuble subject in the field of Giant Panda breeding biology．On the basis of many years of research，we had made erythrocyte rosette formation test to diagnose the early stage of Giant Panda' s pregnancy from 1985 to 1987．The diagnosis was based on the varla-tion of the combination rate of erythrocyte rosette of T-cell in the blood of the female．The result showed that pregnant female had obvious decline in the combination rate of erythrocyte rosette of T-cell after 96-144 hours of mating while non-pregnant female hadn 't．By such test we can readily distinguish the pregnants from the non-pregnants．

摘要： 大熊猫(Ailuropoda melunoleuca)的早期妊娠诊断，是大熊猫繁殖生物学研究中引人注意的课题之一，国内外尚无这方面报道。我们在1985-1987年问采用E-玫瑰花环形成试验进行探索，根据母体外周血中T细胞的E-玫瑰花环结合率的变化诊断大熊猫妊娠。试验结果发现，妊娠者在配种后96-144小时T淋巴细胞的E-玫瑰花环结合率有明显下降，而未妊者则不明显，借此能比较准确地诊断大能猫妊娠。
