Abstract: Intestinal flora of 13 giant pandas (Ailuropoda melanoleuca)，kept at Chengdu zoo and Chengdu Research Baseof Giant Panda's Breeding,have been detected and shown
to be quite different from other animals．The results show that the predominant bacteria were Eschericha coil，followed by Streptococcus faecalis and Lactobacillus SP. ，While detection rate and quantity of anaerobes were relatively low. Meanwhile，the authors also disscused the relationships between the results and giant panda's diseases as well asits significance in degestive physiology．

摘要： 对圈养的13头大熊猫肠道正常菌群进行了定性及定量检测，发现大熊猫肠道正常菌群与其他动物有较显著差异，厌氧菌的检出率及检出量相对较低，其优势菌为肠杆菌科的大肠埃希氏菌，其次为乳杆菌及粪链球菌。同时，本文还着重探讨了上述结果在大熊猫疾病防治及消化生理上的意义。
