Abstract: The Chinese zoker, Myospalax fontanieri, is distribute in the regions of agriculture and livestock hunsbandry in North China and North-west China. Most of them inhabit the ridges of cornland, wasteland and lawn in hill mountainous regions. The animal lives underground all its life,and like feeds on the underparts of plants.

摘要： 中华鼢鼠(Myospalax fontanieri,以下简称鼢鼠),广泛分布于我国华北、西北的农牧区。它们大多栖息于丘陵农田的田埂、地坝、荒地草场,并广泛分布于宁夏南部山区隆德、固原、西吉、海原等地的阴湿区和半阴湿区(任武等,1964;施银柱等1980)。
