Phylogeny and distribution patterns of Dipodoidea in China

中国跳鼠总科物种系统发育与分布格局

Abstract: There are 22 species representing 12 genera and 3 families of Dipodoidea in China,which is one of the countries with the most species richness of Dipodoidea worldwide.Given the recent discovery of new species and the changes in taxonomic status,the phylogeny and species distribution patterns of Dipodoidea in China need to be updated.In this paper,we used Bayesian inferences and maximum likelihood methods to reconstruct the phylogenetic tree of Dipodoidea in China with 12 concatenated genes downloaded from GenBank.In addition,598 georeferenced points for 21 species (except Chimaerodipus auritus) and 10 environmental variables were used to generate species distribution models (SDM) in Maxent.The results showed that areas with higher species richness and habitat suitability of Dipodoidea in China were concentrated in Xinjiang and Inner Mongolia.Annual mean temperature,annual precipitation,temperature seasonality,precipitation seasonality,and solar radiation in August were the main influencing factors of SDM in different species.We clarified the phylogenetic relationships and the species distribution patterns of Dipodoidea in China,which serve as important baselines for future studies.

摘要: 中国分布有跳鼠总科(Dipodoidea)动物3科12属22种,是世界上跳鼠总科物种丰富度最高的国家之一。近年来,随着新种的发现和分类地位的修正,我国跳鼠总科物种的系统发育关系和分布格局也亟待更新。本文通过GenBank下载12个特定基因,串联构建基因矩阵,以贝叶斯法和最大似然法重建22个物种的系统发育树,明确了我国跳鼠总科的系统发育关系。同时,收集整理了除奇美跳鼠(Chimaerodipus auritus)外21个物种的598个分布位点信息,筛选出10个代表性环境变量数据,应用最大熵模型模拟物种分布。结果表明,我国跳鼠总科物种丰富度和适宜度较高的区域集中在新疆和内蒙古地区;环境变量中,年均温、年降水、温度季节性变化、降水季节性变化和8月太阳辐射分别是不同生态型物种分布模型的主要影响因素。跳鼠总科系统发育关系和物种分布格局的明确,有利于我们对跳鼠总科动物进行深入了解。
