摘要： 本文报道了休氏壮鼠一新亚种——休氏壮鼠云南亚种Hadromys humei yun nanensis subsp.nov.。特征:体型较大,尾长短于体长;耳前有一棕色斑;齿隙较长;腭较短。模式标本采自云南瑞丽县,保存在云南省流行病防治研究所标本室。

Abstract: In 1983, a specimen of Hadromys was collected from Ruili, western Yunnan, China. Although there were a series of differences between the specimen and H. humei, for one specimen was only collected, it was temporarily determined as H.humei and reported as a new record of the genus in Chinese Mammalian fauna (Yang et al., 1985). In 1985, a series of specimens were collected again. Its character was fully proved to be steady, so the rat collected from Ruili, western yunnan actually was a new subspecies of Hadromys humei. It may be described as follows:Hadromys humei yunnahensis subsp,nov.
