Abstract: The total of 637 groups of Mongolian gazelle(Procapra gutturosa) were observed during April to July，1993 and M ay to July, 1994. The average group size for spring and early summer and standard deviation were calculated. We also compared and analysed the average group size，percentage and stability of the three types of group of Mengolian gazelle．The analysis of these data revealed that the average group size between spring and early summer exists a significant difference(F=3.09> F_0.05)．The average group size，the percentage and stability of types of group were quite different in spring and early summer. In spring mixed group is the main group type(63.14% )，however，female group is the main group typ e (60.73 %)in early summer．In both seasons，the percentage of male group is the low est，7.45 %and 7.59 % respectively．The largest group is usually mixed group， the female group and the male group are smaller comparatively. In spring, the average group size of femal grouP is 11.35，male group8.84. In ear ly summer，the avarage group size of female group is 4.88 ，male group 9.63．T he m ixed group is the unstablest，the male group is the stablest．Birth period, the abundance of food,the types of group are responsible for the difference in group size for spring and early summer．

本文对春季和夏初在野外观察副的637群黄羊(PTocapra r0跗)的集群行为进行了研究。给出了春季和夏初各种类型黄羊群平均大小及其方差-并对黄羊群的平均大小、所占比倒及其稳定性也进行了比较分析 结槊表明．春季和夏初羊群的平均大小存在着显著差异(F=3．09>F )，春季羊群(2~412只)较夏初羊群(2～103只)变动范围要大。春季羊群主要是混合群(63．14 )．复栩羊群主要是雌性群(60．73 )。在春季和夏韧两个季节，雄性群比倒皆最低，分别为7．45 帮7．59 。较大的集群往往是混合群，春季平均大小为38．95只，夏韧为29．13只。而雄性群和雌性群集群规模皆较小。在春季．雌性群平均大小为l1．35只，雄性群平均太小为8．84只 在夏韧．雌性群平均大小为4．88只，雄性群平均大小为9．63只。混合群的社群组织最为橙散，处于不稳定状态，雄性群最为稳定．羊群波动最小。产仔期、食物丰富度及羊群类型是影响黄羊春季和夏韧粜群变化的重要因素。
