Abstract: The portal venous system within liver of Neophocaena phocaenoides asiaeorientalis was observed. The portal venous system is similar to other mammals (pig , rabbit , ox , dog , goat , rhesus monkey). The R. sinister of the portal vein gives off the v.dorsalis lobi sin lat. , the v. ventralis lobi sin.lat. , the v. lateralis lobi sin.med. , the v. medialis lobi sin , med. , Rr.lobi caudati and Rr.lobi quadrati ; the R. dexter of portal vein gives off the v. lobi dext1med. , the v. lobi dext.lat. and the V. processus caudati. It seems that the portal venous system of aquatic mammals and terrestrial mammals show no obvious difference.
