A new record of Crocidura tanakae Kuroda，1938 in Sichuan and Guizhou Provinces

Abstract

Abstract: In June 2014, six shrew specimens were collected from Mt. Emei and Dujiangyan, Sichuan, and Mt. Fanjingshan, Guizhou in our field survey. Species identification was performed by molecular study. The results suggested the six collected specimens were Crocidura tanakae, new records for the species in Sichuan and Guizhou Province. These new records of Crocidura tanakae expand the distribution of this species and confirm the species presence in mainland of China again.
