Abstract: According to the Wu Rukang (1984) and Shao Xiangqing’s (1985)methods，reports the morphological characteristics and the measure Value of some cranium variables of the Macaca mulatta to in Taihang Mountains The specimens being studied were 12 (6 males and 6 females). There were evidently differences between male and female in some variables such as biauricular breadth．upper facial breadth．orbital breadth，biorbital breadth．Maxillo-alveolar Length et a1．The rhesus macaque distributes in Hunan and Hubei，Fujian and Guangdong provinces．The biological distance in Taihang Mountains rhesus macaque is further than that of the rhesus macaque population between hunan and Hubei to Fujian and Guangdong. Adapted to the climates and plants in warm temperate zone for Long time．The rhesus macaque in Taihang Mountains has be en its unique morphological characteristics.

摘要： 对12例成年太行山猕猴颅骨的主要形态特征进行了描述和测量，并进行了初步的统计学分析。结果表明，成年太行山猕弦颅骨在耳点间宽(X ₁₃)、上面宽(x₁₉ )、左眶宽(X ₂₇)、右眶宽(X₂₈ )、两眶宽(X₃₁ )、上颌齿槽弓长(X₃₇)等变星间存在显著的性别差异。与湘鄂、闽粤猕猴颅骨有关变量相比， 有显著的不同 3个猕猴种群的聚娄分析结果显示．湘鄂、闽粤猕猴种群间的生物学距离相对较近． 而太行 Il猕猴与前一种种群间的距离均较远。太行山猕猴长期适应于暖温带的气候与植被条件．具有其自身的形态特征。
